Almost all Saddleseat Riders wear Jodhpur Boots in preferably Patent Leather; and Derby hats in the Arabian, Morgan and American Saddlebred Saddleseat rings.
The Kentucky Jodhpur is now available in Full Seat, to enhance the seat contact on the Cut Back saddle.
Usually, with Day Coats, the lighter weight Day Coats for day classes (your Cotton Blends, Linens, and Blends), and the Formal Day Coats in the Black or Navy Blue for the Championship Classes and the evening classes. You can also include the most luxurious materials for Regular Classes held in the evening, such as the Raw Silks, and the Polished Cottons, and the shiny or more formal appearing materials. When the Formal Day Coat is worn, the Derby is replaced with the Low Brim Top Hat (often seen in Dressage Rings as well). When wearing the formal Day Coats, you will want to include a Formal Cummerbund as well, and depending on whether or not, you have chosen a Tuxedo Jacket with Silk or Satin binding, will say whether or not you will replace the regular tie for a Bow Tie, and Kentucky Jods with a silk or satin binding along the outer leg seam.
More next week.
