July 20, 2001, Newsletter Issue #47: All Inclusive Horseback Riding Vacations

Tip of the Week

Yes, there really are a miriad of places that offer horseback riding as part of their All Inclusive package! Check with your Local Travel Agent or go to www.horse-tips.com, then the tip section titled Trade Fairs or Camps or Colleges for a listing throughout the world of All Inclusive Vacation sites that offer horseback riding.

All Inclusive vacations usually have a large percentage of horses for the beginner rider, with a few on hand for the more experienced rider. It is a good idea to go to the stables as soon after you arrive and become aquainted with the Barn Manager or Dude Boss, and ask about the "rides offered" and the packages available. Should you take along any carrot or apple pieces for the horses, be sure to ask the Barn Manager first if it is okay to feed the horses by hand. Very often they will prefer that you don`t feed their horses by hand, and will offer the grain bucket in the stalls as an alternative. Respect their wishes, especially if you want to ride!
